Echeveria garden
Roma Street Parklands, Brisbane CBD.

We are pleased to be chosen as the suppliers to this garden, which is a first in Australia, a public garden featuring the Echeverias.
The Roma Street Parkland gardens are situated in the Brisbane CBD, on land that once was the old railway shunting yards.

These first 3 images are designed to show the initial layout of the garden bed,
put in early summer of 2005-6.
Notice how we have made ample room between plants, both to allow space for the plants to grow,
and to maximize good airflow between the plants, to cope with the humid S.E. Queensland conditions.

We have also made good use of available shade in the raised beds,
for those Brisbane summer days when the UV levels climb above 9.

We will follow the progress of this garden bed thru' 2006, as the plants grow and change seasonally.
