Aphids and mealy bugs are the main pests, and they seem to go for the grey/white coloured types. Slugs and snails are less of a problem, and can be easily destroyed. Never use a pesticde other than pyrethrum, Mavrik or similar, and never use a spray with any fixing agent, detergent, or white oil in it. Many pesticides, such as chlorpryphos etc. are harmful. c l o s e
